Garth Evans is central to the narrative of British sculpture. He has presented work in over 100 solo and group exhibitions, including the exhibition Garth Evans at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, curated by Richard Deacon in 2013. Evans has received numerous awards and residencies including a Guggenheim Fellowship. His work is represented in major public and private collections around the world, including Tate Britain, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the British Museum. In 2018 he founded the Sculpture Forum, an online site for discussion about sculpture.
